Zoom Piano Lessons

Ages 5-10 (Elementary School)

Students at the elementary school age will get a great foundation in their musical learning with me. Using fun and simple songs, I will teach your child how to practice good basic rhythm, how to coordinating fingers and, and learning to play with both hands, and the letter names on the piano. Students at the middle school and high school age will be developing disicpline and learning great habits. Developing healthy technique and foundation of scales, and arpeggios. Workbooks to reinforce learning concepts Students will gain a well-foundation in reading and classical music. If they show preopensity, I will prepare them composition through assignments. Hi there! I’m Eric, and I am a pianist and composer based in Southern California. I studied piano performance at San Francisco State University. I bring a wealth of experience teaching music to students of all ages and levels, ranging from beginners to music professionals from the most prestigious music schools in the world, including Berklee College of Music and and NYU. My unique background as a keyboardist and composer who is classically trained while highly versed in jazz, pop, and musical theatre styles makes me uniquely equipped to give my students an well-rounded and comprehensive training.

Teaching is my passion and I consider it to be one of my gifts. Whether you or your child are interested in piano lessons, I will be able to teach you how to read and start playing within the first lessons. I use curriculums specifically for each age level, elementary school, middle/high school, and adult. I have met with enormous succsss throughout the years, with students being able to play great composer.

My son Jamie has been taking piano classes with Eric for over 3 years. His music abilities have developed from not being able to play piano or read music notes to performing beautiful pieces by Mozart and Bach. Jamie loves and cherishes his piano classes.
